ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Introducing
Howard Myles
Howard Myles wasn't just capturing smiles, he was witnessing a deeper truth. Through his lens, he saw the insecurities and self-doubt that shadowed the radiant women in front of him. He saw the way the media's narrow definition of beauty had warped their perceptions of themselves, robbing them of their innate sense of power and worth. This realization became the catalyst for a mission far greater than creating stunning photographs. Fueled by empathy and a passion for redefining beauty, Howard Myles started Leather N Lace Boudoir, a division of Capture Style, headshot and commercial photography business. This new venture became a sanctuary for women to shed their anxieties and embrace their true beauty. Unlike the superficial images that dominated the media, Howard Myles's artistry aimed to reveal the inner light of each woman, capturing not just their features, but their spirit, resilience, and strength.
His camera became a tool for empowerment, guiding women to rediscover their worth beyond societal expectations. Through his gentle guidance, he helped them see their bodies not as objects to be judged, but as vessels of strength and grace. He encouraged them to celebrate their unique imperfections, recognizing that true beauty lies in the authenticity and confidence that radiate from within. With each click of the shutter, Howard Myles challenges the conventional definition of beauty. He paints portraits not with makeup and filters, but with the transformative power of self-acceptance.
He is a storyteller, weaving narratives of courage, vulnerability, and the inherent beauty that exists in every woman, regardless of size, shape, or color. Howard Myles's mission transcends the realm of photography. He is a catalyst for change, sparking a revolution in the way women perceive themselves and are perceived by the world. One portrait at a time, he is rewriting the script, proving that beauty is not a fleeting image, but a powerful force that resides within every woman, waiting to be unleashed. Howard Myles grew up in Brooklyn, New York. After college, he worked in the Garment Center in New York City, ground zero for the fashion industry. It was there that he got exposed to fashion and beauty and developed his since of style that shows in his styling and pictures.
“Boudoir has changed my life. It has allowed me to create a safe place for women to express themselves in many ways they never imagined. Most of my clients have beautiful stories to tell about their lives, and I am here to tell their stories. To help them to see themselves in a new light. This has become my goal, and each time I see their reactions to their photos and experience, it humbles me to say that I have achieved seeing past their past. Lastly, as a boudoir photographer, I have always started with each session with the mindset of Vision, Passion, and Expression to sum it all up.” - Howard Myles
